Ricardo Camargo Mendes

Managing partner of Prospectiva Consulting, coordinates several projects in the areas of public affairs and government relations, trade and investment policies, political risk, strategic planning based on free trade agreements, international negotiations, among others for companies, business associations and government agencies. Industry expertise includes information technology, pharmaceuticals, infrastructure, financial services, consumer goods and agribusiness. Prior to joining Prospectiva, Ricardo Mendes was trade policy analyst at the Federation of Industries of the State of Sao Paulo (Sao Paulo). He holds a BA in International Relations from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC -SP) and a Masters Degree (MPhil) in International Relations from the University of Cambridge (Foreign and Commonwealth Chevining Scholar). Ricardo has several articles and op eds published in leading international journals and business newspaper. He also teaches trade policy at leading MBA programs. Fluent in English and Portuguese.

Geraldo de Figueiredo Forbes

Geraldo ForbesAttorney at Law graduated from the University of São Paulo (1965), has a vast experience in the financial capital markets in Brazil and abroad. President of FINACORP, the first Brazilian merchant banking Brazilian company, which was founded by him in 1973, with BCN Bank. Former contributor of the newspaper Última Hora (1973/76), Sunday columnist of O Estado de São Paulo (1983/91) and member of the Board of the Institute for Advanced Studies of the University of São Paulo (1982/92). Member of the Group of International Affairs (GACINT), of the University of São Paulo and partner of the Lawyers Institute.
 

José Luis de Salles Freire

José SallesFounding Partner of TozziniFreire Advogados and Chairman of Executive Committee.  He supervises the partnership section of the TozziniFreire. Experient professional in capital and stock market, merger and acquisition, tax planning, local and international contracts. Bachelor in Law from the School of Law of University of São Paulo (FD/USP). Master in Comparative Law (LL.M) at New York University. Studied at Academy of American and International Law, organized by  The Center for American and International Law (Texas) and extension course in Business Administration at Fundação Getúlio Vargas. President of Centro de Estudos das Sociedades de Advogados for 2009-2012; member of Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil, section of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Distrito Federal and Rio Grande do Sul; member of International Bar Association, of New York State Bar Association, of American Bar Association, of Inter-Pacific Bar Association and of Council of the Americas. Vice-president of Executive Council of Institute for International and Comparative Law of the Center for American and International Law, and received the Robert G. Storey International Award for Leadership in 2008. He also was advisor of Sao Paulo Stock Exchange and president of World Law Group. He is co-author of "Business Operations in Brazil" and of the chapter “Brazil” from Life Sciences Handbook.


 

Ricardo Ubiraci Sennes

Managing Partner of Prospectiva Consultoria and Professor of International Relations at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP). Specialist in economic and political scenarios, Ricardo Sennes coordinates several projects focusing strategic planning focusing high tech industries, innovation policies, internationalization and regulatory affairs. Former coordinator of the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI) in São Paulo. Visiting researcher at the International Relations Center of the University of São Paulo (USP), at the Woodrow Wilson Institute in Washington, DC, and at the Iberian and Latin American Studies Center of the University of California in San Diego (UCSD). Author of the book “Brazil’s Foreign Policy Changes in the 80´s: A Newly Industrialized Middle Power” (2003) and co-organizer of the book “Financial Services and the Internationalization of the Brazilian Companies: Public Policies and Private Strategies”. Currently, he is also the Coordinator-General of International Conjuncture Analysis Group (GACINT) at the University of São Paulo. He holds a PhD and a Master of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of São Paulo (USP) and a Bachelor Degree in Economics from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP).
