Fernando Ribeiro, economist, master in Political Economy from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP). Ribeiro was economic adviser at the Unified Workers Central and Chief-Economist at the Brazilian Society for Transnational Corporations and Economic Globalization Studies. Today he is member of the Economics Department of PUC-SP and Mackenzie Presbyterian University as well as associated consultant at Prospectiva - Brazilian Consulting Firm on International Affairs.

He is graduated in Business Administration at FEA / USP (1999) and has a Master Degree in Business Administration at FGV-SP, in Strategy (2006-2008). He is a specialist in the application of Decision Theory to the top managers’ needs, assisting them in developing strategies, deciding over new investments, prioritizing actions in entering new markets and products launches. Using resources of Strategy, Decision Theory and Foresight, he has served clients from various sectors and themes such as infrastructure, transportation, pulp and paper, digital agencies, education and tourism companies. His dissertation, at FGV, analyzed strategic actions and reactions of Brazilian companies in the sugarcane and alcohol sector given the industry turbulence over the period from 2003 to 2008, driven mainly by expectations of demand increases for ethanol in the world, consolidation movements and new investments. Marcos also develops teaching activities, focusing on in-company courses and MBA, at FIA and Vanzolini Foundation. He is a member of the Núcleo Decide (2006), a research group on Decision Theory at FEA / USP.

Ricardo holds a Master Degree (MSc) in Industrial Engineering at Poli/USP (2004). He graduated in Industrial Engineering at Poli / USP (2001) with a sandwich degree at RWTH Aachen University (1999). He focuses on strategic decision making, business strategy, evaluation of projects and business, and technology management. A group of mre specific topics of his interest includes the development of future scenarios, estimation of market and competition, and internationalization of companies. Over the past eight years, he has developed consultancy projects for public and private clients in diverse industries such as infrastructure, energy, marine, internet, transportation and services generally. He is also a professor in MBA courses at Maua and FIA.
